I have got an great opportunity to go Iceland. I had some e-mail exchange about a PhD position in Reykjavik University with a professor. Eventually, the prefessor and I got a skype interview. Big vacation has come to hear! However, I don’t have any plan except studying Engish. Today, I tryed to take mock TOEFL test in http://toefl.kmf.com . But, what the hell! It have bacame impossible to take mock.. And I got very very discouraged. I took TOEFL test in http://toeflv3.kmf.com that is old version of KMF instead. I used to wake up 7 AM last year. However, recently, I wake up later than I did. Since my wife retired her previous job, the starting time for my doughter’s nursery has changed from 8:30 to 9:00. My doughter often hates changing her pajamas and brushing her teeth. We are likely to be late. Today is last day of new year’s vacation. My family stayed at my wife’s parents’s home in Nagano, since December 30. I have already come home in Tokyo. But my wife and doughter will be in Nagano until January 13. I got some alone time. So, I practiced speaking English all day at home. I would like to continue to study English at this rate until January 13. Unfortunately, I will be back to work again from tomorrow…​

Today, my wife claimed that she should build her muscle against the frigidity in Iceland. I did’t think it is either good or bad. I can’t realize its importance. She said "Can I take a lesson for pilates every Sunday? (and it takes one and thirty hourss and you must care for your child by yourself while I build my muscle)". Pilates is a some kind of exercise. Recently, My wife desided to resign her current job. And she is now going study abroad. She has been employed with a certain company in Nagano for 10 years. I also used to work for the company, so we were coworkers. And we got married there. After marriage, I changed my job and moved to Kamakura 5 years ago. I left her in Nagano. My wife’s sister’s family stayed my home since they were going to go live concert at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall the day after that. My family and them joined at Ueno Zoo, it was very crowded with tourists who want to see a young panda. Children of us keened on hippos. After we came my home from zoo, We had dinner at a Korean barbeque restaurant Toraji.

Yuyake-Nyan-Nyan's live concert at Nana-Hari was held on Sep 15, 2018. I played drums and a pandeiro. Many people gathered there more than I expected.

Fuyu got better quickly. In Nagano, We went Tirolean forest, Japanese drum festival. And we played in a nearby river with my wife’s sister’s family. We also traveled by car around Kawaguchi rake near Mt.Fuji during the summer vacation. In Narusawa ice cave, Fuyu walked around narrow, dark, cald and inclined road better than adults. It was cold so I made her wore my white shirt. The shirt is too large, but she liked very much and she looked like a tiny ghost. Read More...
