I have got an great opportunity to go Iceland. I had some e-mail exchange about a PhD position in Reykjavik University with a professor. Eventually, the prefessor and I got a skype interview. He descrived a PhD student life in Reykjavik to me. It is very very exciting. Sorry to change the subject but it is said that a gain in weight of the pregnant woman increases a risk in giving her childbirth. Today, my wife sobbed in the bath for increase of her weight. I agree with this theory but I wonder whether it is a good idea or not that strict weight control should be imposed on pregnant women; she deeply deplored that she had gained weight while she could not eat anything for her morning-sickness in the whole day. I think overly strict weigth control in Japan is a bad for mental health of the pregnant woman.
